Adam Katsoukis | Painter

Born in Athens in 1974 Adam Katsoukis traveled to Florence, Italy where he graduated as a Fine Arts painter from the Florence Academy of Art in 1998. Since then he has participated in various solo and group exhibitions around the world, including the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and at the Municipal Gallery of Thessaloniki and Pireus, just to mention a few.

His experience also comprises the dimension of theatre, both on and off the stage as a scenographer and architect of form and light. In more recent years, part of the year is spent hermitted in the north of Greece in a mythical land where he passes his days imagining and bringing to life the stone of the earth. When life brings him over the seas to the land of Tuscany, he dwells deep in restoration projects of crumbling Tuscan villas, and his determination to overcome the elements acts stronger than any cement mix he combined to bring back to life the aged stone.
